Schedule for Freshman/Transfer Students

8:30-8:55 a.m. Check in at Holmes Student Center, Gallery Lounge, main floor. 
You will receive a schedule of activities, information on the Spring Schedule of Classes, a current undergraduate catalog, a student handbook, and other materials when you check in.

9:00 a.m. Opening Session. 
Please be on time.  If you arrive later than 9:00 a.m. you may be asked to reschedule your date. This is a full one-day program. Your day will be filled with information about registration, advising, testing, and other activities.  It is not possible to attend only a portion of the program.  Although some students may finish earlier, it is best to plan to be on campus until mid-afternoon.  After completing Orientation, students will be eligible to register for courses according to the 2008 Spring course schedule.

Rolls, juice, and coffee will be provided as part of your orientation program; however, you are on your own for lunch.  Cafeterias and restaurants are available in the Holmes Student Center and close to campus.

Schedule for Advising Only Students

9:45-10:00 a.m. Check in at Orientation Office, Holmes Student Center, basement center. 
At this time you will be given your nametag and be directed to your 10:15 a.m. college meeting. Academic advising follows the college meeting.
